Christian Mudiwa completed his Bachelors in Human Resources Management at MSU in November 2014. In 2012, he was the IT presenter representing MSU in Washington DC with the Enactus team that came 4th in the world amongst other top universities. He was the first Human Resources Intern for Standard Chartered Bank. He was awarded with a scholarship by the bank to complete his degree after exhibiting an out of the world work ethic. After completion of his undergrad studies, Lorimak Africa, as a HR Graduate Trainee, employed him. Mudiwa was later promoted to Recruitment Assistant Consultant a post he holds to date. In 2016 he was selected to represent Zimbabwe in New York for a young leaders program called Merit360 which was hosted by World Merit in partnership with the UN. Rinos is a renowned entrepreneur, youth leader and customer experience specialist. He is a holder of several qualifications including a B Com Degree and MBA from (MSU), Branding and Digital Media-CIM, Certified Customer Experience Practitioner-CICM, Executive Leadership Certificate from Oxford University/AFLI -UK and final year PHD candidate.
Rinos is the co-founder Africcs Pvt Ltd one of the first call centre company to be established in Zimbabwe. He is also involved with several successful organisations in various capacities including Facelift Construction, Contact Centre Association of Zimbabwe, Chartered Institute of Customer Management which is headquartered in South Africa with presence in over 10 countries, Zambian Institute of Customer Management, Leisure Plus International among others.
He is currently working with various stakeholders in government to set up the Government National Call Centre which is set to create thousands of jobs for the youths in Zimbabwe. Rinos is also Chairperson at Proctor and Associates .He is active in youth development initiatives as curator at World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers, Vice Chairperson at Zimbabwe Youth Council and trustee at Campus Community Foundation .
He is a recipient of several local and international awards including Desmond Tutu Fellowship Award (AFLI/ Oxford University-UK), Young Visionary Award (Indian Government-India), Top Young Person of the Year (JCI), Business Leadership Award (Megafest), among others. Rinos was a judge for the Buy Zimbabwe Awards in 2014 and 2015 and, Retailers Awards for the 2016, Harare Metro CSR Awards hosted by the Provincial Minister Harare Metro in Zimbabwe among others.
HONOURABLE ANASTANCIA NDHLOVU (MP) – DEPUTY MINISTER OF TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY OF THE REPUBLIC OF ZIMBABWE.
BSC Honors Degree Human Resource Management
Honourable Anastancia Ndhlovu was appointed to her current position of Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry on 10 September 2015. In her current role she is responsible for, but not limited to coordinating Domestic Tourism efforts, Liaison between the Ministry and Parliament as well as the ruling party, overseeing the Human Resource and Administration departments within the Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry. Overally she assists the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry in giving political leadership and policy direction to the Ministry in line with the Ministry’s mandate as outlined by the Head of State. As Deputy Minister, she is also responsible for initiating policies which promote Destination Zimbabwe in both International and Domestic Tourism through among other means drawing lessons from successful tourism destinations in the region, the continent and beyond.
Honourable Anastancia Ndhlovu started her political career in 2000 when she joined the ruling ZANU-PF party while at the Midlands State University where she undertook a BSc Honors degree in Human Resource Management. She is a member of the Central Committee of the ruling ZANU-PF party since September 2009 to date. She also serves in its Youth League as Secretary for External Relations. Prior to the national mandate she was a member of the Midlands Provincial Youth League Executive from December 2002 to May 2004.
In January 2004 she joined the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) as a Human Resource Specialist based at the Head Office where she was instrumental in developing Human Resource, Industrial Relations as well as Human Capital Development policies for the Authority which had just been set up in September 2001.
In March of 2007 Honourable Anastancia Ndhlovu took leave from ZIMRA after being seconded to represent Zimbabwe as Vice President of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) in Budapest, Hungary after Zimbabwe had been elected to the position through the ruling Party’s Youth League. She was instrumental in revitalizing the work of this global anti-imperialist youth organization’s work in the African Commission. This saw Zimbabwe hosting the first WFDY African Commission regional meeting after a long time in the resort town of Victoria Falls in November 2007.
Before assuming the above role in WFDY, Honourable Anastancia Ndhlovu represented Zimbabwe and the ruling party in various national, regional and international youth meetings through the Zimbabwe Youth Council and Youth League respectively. She served as Board member and Vice Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Youth Council from 2002 to 2009 and in the Youth League from 2004 to date. In the summer of 2006 she was part of the team that initiated the first Southern Africa Youth Festival hosted by Zimbabwe at the Elephant Hills Hotel Golf Course in Victoria Falls. The Youth Festival saw young men and women from the SADC region converging to share experiences on the Youth Development Agenda. Her diplomatic skills saw her getting her country the position of Deputy Secretary General of the Pan African Youth Union (PYU) after she represented Zimbabwe at the 2nd Ordinary General Assembly of the PYU in November 2008 in Congo Brazzaville.
In March 2008 Honourable Anastancia Ndhlovu was elected as a Member of Parliament for Shurugwi South Constituency and made history to become the first person born in post independent Zimbabwe to be a Legislator. She served in the Foreign Affairs and Higher and Tertiary Education Portfolio Committees respectively. She also served as the Deputy Secretary of the Zimbabwe Women Parliamentary Caucus where she played a pivotal role in bringing out the women’s position in the constitution making process from 2011 to March 2013. During the same process she also represented her party as a Technical Advisor to the Youth Thematic group and later on as Co-Chair during the thematic committee stage of the constitution making process in 2012.
In the July 2013 Harmonized elections she was nominated by the ruling ZANU-PF party as a Member of Parliament for the Midlands province under the proportional representation for women, after which she was appointed Chairperson of the Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Environment, Water, Tourism and Hospitality Industry. During her tenure as Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee over and above the legislative, oversight and representation roles, she was also Head of the Parliament of Zimbabwe delegation to the United Nations Conference of Parties (COP) negotiations on climate change. She spearheaded the formation of the Zimbabwe chapter of GLOBE, the Global Association of Legislators, which seeks to advance and review climate and natural capital legislation which is critical in Zimbabwe’s climate change, adaptation and after mitigation efforts. She was the inaugural President of GLOBE Zimbabwe Chapter until the time of her appointment as Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry.
Honourable Anastancia Ndhlovu was born on 6th of October, 1980 and is a holder of a Master of Science in Development Studies from the Women’s University in Africa in Harare as well as a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Human Resource Management from the Midlands State University in Gweru, Zimbabwe. She is also a qualified DACUUM facilitator and a SAP Super User for Human Resources. She also holds a certificate in Labor relations from the Institute of Personnel Management in Zimbabwe (IPMZ).
She is a God fearing young lady with entrepreneurial skills.

Tichaona Zororo is a member of ISACA International Board of Directors and President of ISACA South Africa Chapter. He is the Chair of ISACA International Audit and Risk Committee and sits on a number of Audit, Risk and Performance Committees in South Africa. He has vast years of in-depth experience in mainstream IT, IT Auditing, IT Governance and Risk across private and public sectors in Africa, America, Europe and Asia. Tichaona served on the ISACA International’s Framework Committee charged with identifying and supporting activities required to appropriately define, build and maintain a globally applicable and practically useable ISACA enterprise governance and management of IT (GEIT) framework (COBIT), CGEIT Test Enhancement Sub Committee, External Advocacy Committee, ISACA South Africa Chapter Vice President, chaired the IT Governance Committee of Eastern Cape Province Department of Roads & Public Works, ISACA South Africa Chapter Certifications Director and was the Deputy Chair of ISACA International Audit and Risk Committee. Tichaona Zororo is Director IT advisory with EGIT Enterprise Governance of IT an IT Advisory and COBIT 5 Accredited Training firm based in South Africa focusing on advising the Board, Senior Business Executives and Management, IT Auditing, IT Governance Advisory, Training and Enterprise Risk Management. He is an advisor to numerous boards and executives in Africa and abroad on their role in using Merging and Emerging Technologies to create enterprise sustainable competitive advantage, Digital Transformation, Governance and Management of Enterprise IT, IT Risk, Cybersecurity and IT Auditing. Delight Murigo is a 2013 Midlands State University graduate with an Honours Degree in Development Studies. His 4 years enrolment with the university culminated in him being awarded the Vice Chancellors Award of Excellence for Being the All Round Best Male student in University Service, Community Work and Academic Excellence. Delight served in different capacities during his time as a student; being elected into the Student Representative Council which is the highest student body for the university in his first year, President for the Peer Educators Network, Chairperson for the Development Studies Association, Programmes Coordinator for AFM on Campus, Sub warden, and Chairperson for Clubs and Societies. He is currently employed as the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for a national youth led organisation called Students And Youth Working on reproductive Health Action Team (SAYWHAT). Since the completion of his Degree, Delight has worked in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health at a national and regional level. Some of the work he has been involved with to date include; Zimbabwe Country Coordinator for the International Youth Alliance on Family Planning and being the Co-chair of the Youth Pre-conference, Advocacy, and Pavilion Steering Committee for the ICASA Youth Front during the 18th Edition of ICASA. Under the leadership of SAYWHAT, Delight continues to implement interventions within the field of Sexual Reproductive Health with the aim of promoting young people’s access to and utilisation of services.

Garry Juma completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree in Economics at MSU in 2005. Shortly after, he worked at Techfin Research as an Economic Analyst for almost 2 years before he took up a more challenging position at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe as an Economist in 2006. In 2008 he joined Motswedi Securities (Pty) Ltd (Botswana) as Head of Research and set up Motswedi Securities Research department.
Currently he is in overall charge of all the research work at Motswedi Securities and the company is now well known for producing quality, accurate and well-detailed reports especially on the Botswana financial markets. The reports are not only recognized in Botswana, but also in most parts across the globe through a spectrum of some international investors particularly in the USA, the United Kingdom and Asia. His views on the economy and the stock market are often quoted in the local media in Botswana. He has also been actively involved in the successful listings through IPO of several companies on the Botswana Stock Exchange.
In 2010 he was shortlisted for “Best Analyst Awards (Equities)” – Africa Investor Awards held in London. In June 2015 he was appointed to the Motswedi Board as one of the Executive Directors in recognition of his hard work.

This experience gathered through MSU student Development System amongst others has left Mahlavira to the glaring reality that the best he can ever achieve is limited by the amount of knowledge in hand to be applied.

Meet Takudzwa Charles Zvobgo. Takudzwa is currently studying for Doctoral of Mercantile laws and working as an Academic Associate in the Department of Mercantile Laws, Faculty of Laws at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Takudzwa is the Former president of the Midlands State University LEO Club. He was the 2012-13 Leo District 412 President (Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi and Mozambique) and also served on the Leo International Advisory Panel, a 17 member International executive board. A renowned PACESEETTER Zvobgo is a recipient of the “Leo Award for outstanding service in Humanitarian aid for Africa” making him the first in the current generation to hold this award in Zimbabwe.
In an interview with the Alumni Office Zvobgo confidently announced, “Nothing defined me better than Midlands State University, I have unparalleled loyalty to my institution”
